| Our
Mission People for Indigenous Preservation and the Environment (PIPE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring our
environment through returning to ancient ways of life:Star knowledge, ceremony, and prayer.
Our purpose is to educate our human family to respect all that they see, to take only what they need, and to give
thanks in return. Our ancestors walked in balance with nature with a true understanding that all things are related.
They hunted buffalo, deer, and salmon to live; now we must hunt for knowledge. As we continue to teach the native
youth of America through workshops and cultural events, it is the sharing of this knowledge with the non-native
community that will bring about true change. Only through looking back can we find our way forward. All
my
Relations For generation upon generation, the people of Turtle Island were true stewards of Mother Earth. The land is a
reflection of them, as they are a reflection of the land. I have learned to walk my prayer with the Lakota. If we listen
hard and focus our minds, we can learn much from these kind-hearted people. We are reaching out to them to help
make that change. We ask you to help us restore our environment through returning to ancient ways of life:
Happiness and love of family are the heart of the Lakota way. By walking gently in two worlds, not only do we restore
balance to an unbalanced world, but we as two-leggeds may also return to our true place in the circle of life. Walk with us. Mitakuye Oyasin! All my Relations!
